This is what I do with Zoe. Instead of Almond Oil, I use emu oil but i've heard that almond oil is just as good. I use it in a cup full of warm water as a final rinse and Zoe does not matt at all. And I only brush her when I bathe her. (every 4-5 days) Nothing inbetween. I swear by the stuff and have to thank mardelin and tegamom for recommending it.
