The following is just my observations/opinions:
Puppy mills usually sell their dogs to brokers. They get less money this way, but all of the puppies are gone by 8 weeks of age for a guaranteed price. The ones that they have after 8 weeks are the ones that the brokers would not take for some reason (sick, hernias, other problems)
BYB sell their dogs to the new owners, but don't care where they go. If you have the money you get a dog. If the breeder does not ask you any questions about your household and for references then you need to be thinking BYB | |
