I ran across your story by accident, but I can't help but respond. YOU ARE IN A TEXTBOOK ABUSIVE RELATIONSHIP!! The cycle of "acting out"/ abusing you/ , appology, good period, then tension buildup resulting in another "act out". Classic abuser although he is not physical. PLEASE find the strength to get away from him. You sound like such an accomplished individual. You can do better.
