Denise, I just ready your post. I am so sorry you are still hurting! Hopefully soon, you will begin to heal. Yes, you are doing the right thing in giving her back if your heart is not ready for a replacement. In time you will be able to accept another baby. In the meantime take care of yourself and know that Maddie is running and playing at the Rainbow Bridge with all of the other wonderful furbabies, she is now in perfect health.
