My baby girl is only one year old. Last night she was laying on my chest and I felt a lump on her foot. I immediately checked it out. Its about the size of a pea and is attached to her pad. I called my vet and took her in today. He said it was a tumor, not sure if it was benign or malignant. Either way he wants to remove it. But for today they took fluid to send to a pathology lab. He came back into the room and said the good news was he did not see any abnormal cells on the slide, but he was of course still sending it to the lab and of course still wanted to remove it. Has anyone had this or a similar situation come across and it turned out it was benign??? I am worried sick. I had a rottweiller last October diagnosed with a tumor on her leg and of course I lost her about three months later. I cant believe it could be happening again to my new puppy!!!! I was just hoping for encouraging stories with good endings here while I wait for her results. I am so sad and angry that this could be happening to my puppy!!!
