  DO you have any dogs you can make play dates with??  I think he isnt sleeping through the night because he is not burning off enough energy throughout the day?  I know it sounds bad but every night at about 9-10 we all try and play a little extra with Diggy to tire him out....he is just over 6 months old and sleep thru the whole night (11-11:30 pm til 7 am) if he doesnt get that extra play time he is restless when he sleeps and I can totally tell a difference.  If I babysit my sisters Ada or Tara's Zoey and Boston  Diggy play and plays and sleeps  Sooooo good.
