She just loved sun bathing on the patio. It was getting so she just would not get out of her basket. Anyway, I knew I did not want to have just one dog, and started to prepare my children for her loss. My son took it really hard. They stayed home today to Mourn her passing. Saturday we are getting our Yorkie (Gucci). My husband and I already went to pick her out. I too feel your pain. Like someone else said before...Our furbabies loved us, and would want us to be happy. Babies bring new joy, and a new personality to deal with. Mostly magical time. We have happy memories of our furbabies. Nothing can ever take that from us.

Hang in there. You new baby is adorable. I also like the name.

Good luck!

Thank you, I am also sorry to hear about your loss too. We got our little furbaby, Nina, and it's taken time for us to adjust to Nikki being gone. We'll never forget her and sometimes we will call Nina- "Nikki". I have to say we felt as if she was being replaced and felt guilty but we know that we didn't and our precious NINA has filled a huge void that Nikki left. My oldest son didn't want to see Nina when we got her and it took him a couple of days to come around. He now comes froms school and goes directly to her and plays with her. I do know that she is in a better place no longer suffering. Thank you ALL from the bottom of my heart.
