The judge was correct, because the only place that white is allowed is on the chest (less than 1" at the longest dimension). So a pup with white on it's head (even if it's only 10 hairs) should be DQd per the new ruling.
I guess anyone who shows should find out the exact meaning of the ruling before they show a black coated dog, because the way the new DQ rule reads is that all colors other than blue and tan will be DQ ... and that's pretty black and white to me :-)
