Their crates are their dens, so it would make sense that some would get very protective of it. A hand reaching in could be unnerving to a pup trying to get away by going in their crate. Since she loves her crate, I would hate to have her lose it. She obviously feels safe there. I agree - I would try luring instead of reaching in. See if you can eliminate the problem without turning her little world upside down. Let us know............... |
