I do that with Sophie. She knows to stop if i say it, i taught her to stop before crossing the street, like before i cross the street even if i have the light i stop and tell her stop and then i saw lets go and she follows. I do this just in case anything ever happens she will not run across any street. I also always carry treats with me on walks. I am still working with Teddy and London though. London is not that bad, but Teddy would run across a street and keep going thinking it's 'fun' if i let him
