| HE WONT SLEEP AT NIGHT- help My yorkie is 9 months, he has been sleeping through the night in his bed, which is inside his crate. Usually around 6 am he wakes up and whines to be let out to go potty. After he goes potty outside I bring him into bed with my husband and I for about half and hour, while we wake up, watch the news, play with him etc...
I recently took him to visit my sister. Since we flew, I did not bring a bed and since it was just me, I had him sleep with me in my bed. Now, back in town with the "Our bed, your crate" arrangement he is not happy! Whines and whines and whines- I know he wants to get into bed with us! I would, but our bed is really high off the ground and my husband is a sleeping tosser and turner.
I have had to put him in the other room so I can sleep... but now he pees and poops in the middle of the night and I feel bad because I want him to feel close to us during the night instead of in the back room by himself Help! What do I do to get us back to the old arrangement!
