That is definitely why the vet was recommending it. They have tons of samples from them and all sorts of goodies are given to the vets. When I had gotten my first Shih Tzu the vet had recommended Purina (I was switching from Royal Canin). I sat and looked at the bag and realized that there were a lot of fillers in it. Needless to say I switched vets and never bought that stuff. I wanted a natural food with no gunk...mine you he was recommending this because of all the samples and other incentives that they had gotten from the company.
