Man ,I have to give you credit for having to put up with this lady in the first place.!! Their is no way in hell I would want to entertain my husbands old ex girlfriend!

I really do not have any advice to give because this has never happened to me. Just kill her with kindness I guess. Or just talk to her when absolutely necessary. You don't have to be buddy buddy with her do you. How long do you have to endure this? What activities do you have planed for their visit? Maybe you could catch a movie that way you are mot having to talk.
I hope that she herself is at home fretting over how she should behave for you
