Maybe someone with more experience can tell you if hypoglycemia attacks can still happen after their first year. I do know that you can get Nutri-cal at the vet's office and some pet supply stores. It comes in a long thin white and light blue box and inside is a tube of browns sweet syrupish looking substance. It kinda has the texure of tooth paste and if it gets hot it'll get kinda runny. I squeaze a bit on my finger on place it at the roof of his mouth so he can lick it down. At the vet's office my nutri-cal tub cost me 7 bucks. I hope this helps.
