Now that I use her stud and just 2 week before my puppie whelped she started telling me horror stories (very very bad) I will not get into it. But she has poor whelping practices I really do not want her to have a puppy. She has agree to not breed the puppy to sell her is there any I can make sure this puppy will not be used for breeding? I doing limited registration. I hate for her to have our line. I have screwed up so much I have beat myself up for every taking my baby down there. I just did not know I have learned alot. Her contrat say 450. if we only had one puppy but she say if dont want to give her a puppy she want $1200.

I normally do not post on here, just read.. But I am from Indiana and your story sounds to familar! My very first litter I used another breeder's stud.. She would not take the stud fee up front and said we would wait until we knew for sure she took.. So stupid me did what she told me to do.. When my female whelped there were three males in the litter.. When I contacted her about the whelping and there were three boys, she stated she would take pick of litter! I about died! We took the puppies to visit her when they were 12 weeks old, she stated I could give her pick of the litter or buy my own puppy back for $1400.00.. My husband made me turn over the puppy papers to her and the puppy she liked.. She did say she would going to place the puppy into a pet home and it would go on limited registration.. I made her sign a statement which said the puppy would be placed as a "PET ONLY" on limited registration.. Needless to say I cried all the way home! About 1 year later I received a call from a man in Michigan who had bought this boy from the stud owner and he told me the stud owner told him he could use him for breeding! But the papers were marked limited and he wanted to write a letter to AKC stating I would give him full rights on the boy.. I told him there was NO way in H*ll I would do that, but I offered to purchase him back.. He said no I will just keep him for a pet, because I love him so much! Well a couple months later I checked with AKC and he had been given full registration on this boy and had already registered litters under him! He had whited out the limited box, drew it back in, and obtained full rights on the boy.. It took me almost 1 year and writing many many letters to AKC and I was finally able to pull full registration on the boy and the papers on his puppies as well! A few months after that happened I received a letter from the owner and he stated he was going to have to sell him and ask me if I wanted to purchase him back.. The next day my husband and I was one our way to Michigan and brought the boy back home with us.... He is now in a loving forever pet home! So please pay her the $1200.00 and be done with her... That way you do not have to go through what I had to... Sounds like stud owner you used......
