I'm a bit confused. Everyone who has posted so far has done nothing but express concern for the well being of your girl...I don't think anyone was jumping on you. You have some very good, EXPERIENCED breeders here trying to offer you help the best way that you can. I can't help but be under the impression that if she truly was 'acting fine' and 'didn't need to see a different vet,' then you wouldn't be on here now posting for help.

Please know that no one here is blaming you or trying to make you feel bad. The lady you got her from is to blame and should have never let this situation happen. You are trying to do what is best for her and I think everyone here recognizes that. They have been in your shoes many times and are just trying to make sure that you understand the seriousness of the situation--lack of hands on experience (although no fault of your own) can mean you won't recognize warning signs of problems that a seasoned breeder would pick up on. Just try to take in everything you are being told and know that it is being given to you with the best intentions.

Welcome to YT and good luck with the whelp.
