 Response from AKC concerning coat Colors
Wanted to pass this along in hopes that it answers questions about registering yorkies with different coat colors...
The Yorkshire Terrier Club of America permits the use of Liver, Tan,
Liver & Tan, Chocolate & Tan, as well as the four standard colors in
registration of the Yorkshire Terrier. They also allow the Markings
code for Parti-color.
The only colors acceptable for the show ring are Blue & Gold or Blue &
Tan.
