hi
yes, it is ringworm. no bald spots thankfully. my yorkie is a stressed out little one. she is very hyper, very very hyper.
she has been through alot too , not abusive but many disruptions to her schedule while she was a pup till about 2.5 yrs. my dad had passed away in 2005 and she was attached to him since she was 12 weeks old. but the first two years he was in and out of the hospital, and she was also affected by the stress in the household.
she is a difficult eater. she loves her chicken breast every morning, and she gets wellness wet dog food at night, mixed in w/ different things, sometimes quiona, sometimes fresh meat grilled, so when she eats she eats well.
i have pitcarnes book, but i did not see that section regarding ringworm. i will take a look. i cant imagine fasting my dog, she is difficult !...she was in perfect health prior to her first ringworm. all bloodtests, etc were always perfect. her weight was perfect,e tc...
we always wash our hands well after handling her and use purell each time after washing hands. what is the topical treatment? all i know is to bathe her w/the special medicated antifungal shampoo, and the lymsulphur dip...
thank you again for sharing, i really appreciate this alot.
all this for the love of a little 6lb yorkie....
