 advantage or frontline

Haven't posted in while, but have a question. Whats better advantage or frontline? Also what is a good method for containing barking without using the collars that shock? I'm not going to shock my lucky for barking but he barks constantly when were out in public or when he's in the backyard and its pretty annoying.He doesnt bark in the house unless he hears something which is great but i dont want to keep him in the house all the time. thanks
