I think you'd be a great home for a yorkie. You're at home all day and have grown kids, and it sounds like your large dogs are very well behaved. Lacy has played with a lot of big dogs too and usually gets along well with them. I would just never leave them alone unsupervised just in case...just because a large dog could accidentally step on the yorkie. Other than that, I think it would be fine.
