puppy questions I would ask if they still have their dew claws. When I bought my first Yorkie, I was naive and didn't even know about them. The breeder didn't tell me. I ended up having to have them removed at the vet's. As it turns out, this should have been done by the breeder.
Also, I would look over the parent's carefully. What kind of coat do they have? Silky, cotteny or wirey. Also, ask what brand of food the puppy is eating. If you change brands do it ever so slowly as not to upset their tummy.
I think the most important thing is to investigate the breeder, don't buy any puppy online, beware of pet stores, and maybe get a recommendation from a vet for a reputable breeder. |
