Thank you very much. I feel the same way about your posts. I just believe that we need to talk about depression more in our society. It is a very real medical condition and there is help. If we don't talk about it, I just don't see how it will get any better.

I am still blessed to have my husband with me, but he has some very critical medical conditions. I appreciate everyone's posts about how important it is to value the time we have with those we love.

My depression was brought on by my father's death and some of the empty nest issues I went through. But you really don't have to have something catastrophic happen to suffer from depression. Sometimes it just seems to bring it to the surface more.

The important message here is that no one has to suffer alone. Reach out to others and seek help when you need it. There is always hope.
