The only reason I bought my yorkie the citronella collar is not to keep him from barking altogether, it's just to keep him from barking whenever one of us walks out the door. It works for that purpose...My intent was not to train him to quit barking completely or to make him feel like he can't ever bark. Like I said, he barked so much one time because my husband was outside that he made himself sick, and I can't let that happen...Ever since we got the collar, he has improved significantly. |
