Can anyone tell me how much water a 4-pound, full-grown Yorkie needs to drink each day? I think I may be giving Archie too much water (he also naturally just likes water), because he pees
several times a day on his piddle pad (and sometimes NOT on his pad
). He's a little pee-pee machine -- but is otherwise healthy. Sometimes he just pees big puddles. He has a Yorkie-sized water bowl, but I usually fill it up and he drinks all of it, or nearly all of it, during the day. I keep it down all day long and take it up for the night between 8 p.m. and 9 p.m.
Should i take up the water at certain times during the day? Restrict his intake? I'm drowning in pee-pee here! Help!
