She's still hormonal and her first rule is "all food is her food". Also, it could be part of the instinct thing that they don't want anything around the puppies that would attract a predator. We go through that every time we have puppies. Try and keep her occupied while you're feeding them. If all she's doing is growling, that's ok but if she's nipping at them then keep her away while they're eating. Aren't they fun when they are learning to eat? They put their whole bodies into it. |
