Default ears

Teri Shumsky ( Vassar Square) told me many eyars ago to use Flowers of Sulphur powder to keep the ears dry. I put it in a hair dye plastic bottle and dust the insides of my grooming clients dogs with problems...you do not clog the canal of course, but gentle poofs...or you can dip a q-tip in the powder and clean the canal...I have seen chronic infections clear up in a matter of two and never return with weekly dustings. Allergies can cause chronic infections...but if the dogs ears smell clean, no scratching or head shaking..and a cotton ball cleaning only results in a bit of dirt, then it sounds okay...clumps of debris is not good and needs atention.
Too many antibotic's can backfire and cause yeast infections to grow...
