I am (kind of) am a first time yorkie owner too. I got Beau around 6 years ago and he was my first and only yorkie (so far). Good luck on all of your research but remember that yorkie's personalities are each their own, like a human there aren't two alike! I love my little Beau-Beau and wouldn't trade him for any other breed in the world!
