Oh, I feel bad now! I don't think the nutritionist said chicken is BAD, per se, she said it is one of the MOST highly allergenic foods she ever sees in dogs. Which means, for some dogs, it's just great! But for allergic dogs - digestive issues, itchies, watery eyes etcetera.
That was also why she does not like chicken/rice for sick dogs - bc they're already compromised, and with chicken being allergenic, it might exacerbate the symptoms. Again, chicken NOT bad, just allergenic.
