This thread is very interesting. The part about chicken being bad makes no sense to me but I'm not a nutritionist. I am kind of in a spot with Ellie. Chicken is the meat she tolerates best (probably has to do with her liver). I don't want to be hurting her but she gets itchy from lamb, beef isn't good for suspected liver problems, fish has too many purines with UTI problems.... So I guess we stick with chicken. I'm not happy to know that it isn't the best thing for her though.
