at around 5:45am (pacific time) my husband woke me up by screaming that airplane crushed into one of the twin buildings in Manhattan. I freaked out.I did not understand what was going on and then i saw first tower collapse. my heart stopped and tears were rolling down my face. my best friend (we know each other for 40 yrs and 1 year prior she had twins) worked on the 33rd floor on one of the towers.I did not know which tower. But it did not matter cause few minutes later there was a second crash.Her family lived in Queens. I could not reach anyone anywhere in NY for a long time. My girlfriend survived! And i am blessed to have her as a friend!!!!!!!!!!! |
