I just got in and after reading through the rest of these so many things came rushing through my mind.
After reading what you NYC people wrote, it is really hard to imagine how strong you all were. I don't think another city in the US could have handled it the way you did......you really are tough and a role model for all of us.
I have always watched Tom Brokaw sp? and just seemed to count on him for his honestly and strength when times were not good and when I saw him break down and cry on the evening news when his secretary was not expected to live it was another moment I just lost it. |
