Our town just discontinued it at the last minute this year. The article said that more and more cities are discontinuing it for health reasons???
They completely clean the pool afterward and require proof of immunizations anyways. And besides, I've heard of a lot more people getting sick after swimming where PEOPLE were swimming than where dogs swam 6 months and a complete cleaning before!!
