Thank you to all who have posted posted! My breeder said that she starts crate training the pups a few weeks before they get to come home. So that should be helpful for me. I was not sure if others had problems with pups messing in their crates because a blanket was in it! I will be using a small crate at first, the breeder gave me the name and size of what she starts out in and said that if I bring mine when Jeter is born then she will use it to start off crate training for me. She also agreed that it is allot less messy to clean if an accident happens when a blanket or pee pad is in the crate. I guess that since my husband works nights and sleeps daytime I can sneak a blanket in for him
