 Blanket and crate Question
Can you have a blanket and /Or pee pee pads in a crate with a new puppy?
I am asking this because we are waiting for our breeder to have a boy for us and I am getting things ready now because it should be in December that we bring one home.
Anyways my husband has informed me that I will not be able to put a blanket or anything for that matter in the crate because it teaches it to potty on things!??! I asked him were he got this information from and he said from his buddy that has a lab. Now mind you his dog is left alone from 7 am to 7 pm every day. I will be home ( or one of my boy's that are teen/pre teens) 24/7 as I am a stay at home mother.
I was just wondering if this is true. I have not read that you can't put a blanket with a puppy in it's crate at night so I am confused!! Did you keep things out of the crate till potty training was completed? |
