yorkiek9trainer: what food do you normally use? I will def. take your advice and try the Solid gold though - hopefully he'll like it.

I really like the results I'm getting w/ all of the dogs I have on Timberwolf's Southwest Chicken. Some of the Timberwolf's products have Sunflower products in it, and for that reason alone I don't purchase them, but the Southwest doesn't and the counts on it are great. Especially if you have a growing large breed puppy. The protein and calorie content isn't high enough for a competition dog, even my little Yorkie(s), and then I have another food I put them on or a supplement powder during the show season. Otherwise I'd suggest it highly.

Oh, and Dick Van Patten's Natural Balance is also another GREAT quality food. (I only use the original formula)
