Not eating is not a symptom of heart worms. If he had heart worms, he would basically act "out of shape" - getting out of breath easily and panting and making a raspy hacking kindof noise. Teething could be a lot of the reason why he doesn't want to eat or he may just not like the food you're feeding him. Why don't you try a new food? You could even give him some premium canned food. Purina One isn't a very good food - if you want to feed kibble or canned I would go with Merrick, Canidae, California Natural, Wellness, Innova, Nature's Variety...
