When he was a pup it was harder for him but I knew I would be
retiring in a couple of years and we would be together after, everyday.
He has it good. I play 1/2 hr with him in the am and arrive home around 5:30 and we spend the night together. I have no problem with this and neither
does he. It stinks that we have to do this but they are happy, safe and
loved. That's more than 1/2 the dogs in this world, unfortunately.
They get into a routine fast. When it gets dark out earlier I have the
lamps on a timer so he has light early until I get home. He greets me
at the door every evening. He never has an accident and is so very
good. THis is my 3rd dog that stayed home during the day with no problem.
You just have to be sure you make it up to them in other ways and spend
quality time in the am before leaving for work.
It will be ok.

Thank you Archie! I guess I am not the only one leaving my Love home alone for that long
I was feeling like the worse human being on earth!
