Bruce was once very finicky and only wanted home cooked food or what I would consider crap foods...I talked to my vet and we gradually started blending in Innova with the crap kibble. When we completely switched over he stopped eating...I talked to my vet, and basically the info I got is that a dog will not starve themselves, they will hold out for something better but not starve themselves so if you do not give them other food they will not eat it...I obviously got worried about the blood sugar issues, etc of trying to win a contest of wills with him, so I mixed his kibble with Natures Variety raw medallions and he LOVES THEM, and they are nutritious! |
