Cant speak on something that you havent seen a dog do! My kid plays harder than my dog!!! A child actually has fingers and the ability to take an earring out - but do they!!! Not likely... Some people consider their pups their children... and quite frankly my daughter had her ears pierced as a baby - so why shouldnt my other baby (if thats what I wanted)? And how do you know if dressing a dog doesnt hurt them - do they talk to you? Nope! Its your opinion and mine is - To each his own...
Like I said in my other post it was MY PERSONAL OPINION. In MY opinion it's cruel. There is absolutely no point whatsoever to pierce a dogs ear, other than for your amusement and for attention from others (not you personally in general). I think it's sick but you can do whatever you like I know clothes don't hurt them because 1. They don't bleed when clothes are on them 2. They don't cry when clothes are on them 3. They don't need to have any special medical treatments when clothes are on them. So no, they don't talk to me, but common sense observations show that clothes do not hurt them, at least not to my dogs anyway.
