A dog is not an accessory or a toy to play with and make it look like barbie. I think dressing them up should be as far as it should go, JMPO. At least when you dress them up, it's not hurting them and it's not cruel. |
WOW... WHAT A SUBJECT! I really appreciate everyones very different views. However, I think some of you might get this picture of a dog with a hoop earring in the ear or something, cause everyones concern is that it will get torn out. The chances of a stud earring getting torn out - are SLIM. And quite frankly, my dog never just plays with her ears - they dont have fingers... soooo, HOW CAN THEY TAKE IT OUT ?!? Cant speak on something that you havent seen a dog do!
My kid plays harder than my dog!!! A child actually has fingers and the ability to take an earring out - but do they!!! Not likely... Some people consider their pups their children... and quite frankly my daughter had her ears pierced as a baby - so why shouldnt my other baby (if thats what I wanted)? And how do you know if dressing a dog doesnt hurt them - do they talk to you? Nope! Its your opinion and mine is - To each his own...
