Big day for Toto .... maybe I should say ... good day for "Big Toto"?! Took Toto to Dr. Lucy's for a scratching problem she has developed this week .... weighed in at 4 lbs!!!
After trying to get those lousy 7 ozs. off her and depriving her of her faves .... we weighed 4 lbs?!!!!
Don't get me wrong .... we don't care if she gets as big as a St. Bernard ... except we don't want any health problems or bad knees. Dr. Lucy pronounced her 4 lbs. of muscle! not fat! That's what we wanted to hear ... no marshmallow girl here! THAT was the good news ... the BAD news is she appears to be allergic to one of the dyes in our new berber carpet! Got instructions to steam clean, got antihystemine and treatment for her coat which has been affected also. Suddenly got dry, dull and matty! If all else fails ... I will personally rip out 92 yds. of carpet!!!
Is there a market for "slightly used" berber?? [actually 1 week old!] Hopefully Dr. Lucy's instructions will be the ticket and we will be scratch-free and the coat treatment will save her from a "buzz cut"!!
