I can understand you not wanting to take a cat camping. Its different than taking a dog bc what would you do if he bolted up a big tree??? Its not you can just call the fire dept. I think a cat would be happiest staying at home. Rather than have your future mil keep him, cant she just pop by once a day and check on him? As far as telling you fiance... I would just tell him that you don't want to put that responsibility on her bc heaven forbid if something were to happen and he were to get out that your kitty would never come to her and that you just don't want to put her in that kind of position.. blame it on the cat! Then he cant get upset with you since he knows that he only comes to you! |
