Clear solid or clear gel works wonderfully & you don't have to reapply daily. Bogey used to chew on everything from baseboards to antique furniture. One swipe with deodorant & no more chewing. After he grew out of it, I wiped all the "sites" down removing the deodorant & as good as new !!
