Is it true that Stewie will not bond with me if I let him and Kallie share the same crate? I have a trainer coming over next week to do an in home eval to get me started on training them since she thinks that 12 weeks is to young for a basic training class. My problem is that Stewie will not take treats so working on potty training is useless. he will not come to me when I act stupid and get on the floor and try to play with him where as Kallie sees it as he opp to attack full force. He cries whenever left alone in his crate but if I put him in Kallies with her they snuggle. The trainer told me that if I did not seperate them then he would bond only to her and not me. I let them both sleep with me last night by accident but it went well and Stewie just wants to be close to someone at all times. As soon as I pick him up he wants to go to sleep. He seems to have no personality with me or the other humans but when you put him and Kallie together then he will play with her.. The picture below shows Kallie having him in a headlock but when I step in then he sits there like a sick puppy that can barely walk. I took him to the vet and she said that he is just a laid back puppy. Does that seem right that he would be laid waaaaaaay back all the time.. I realize that he has only been here since sat but how long does it take them to open up.. Kallie was running things the next day...Sorry so long, any help would be appreciated... |
