Lexi has this problem also big time! Lexi has always been a very hyper dog. She also doesnt bark much...so when she gets excited her whole body just shakes and she just gets so overwhelmed. A friend of mines suggested regulating her water better. And honestly it has made such a HUGE difference! I was leaving water out for my pups allll day. Which for most pups I'm sure is fine, but Lexi will drink water out of boredom (i've witnessed this myself) so I put in just enough for them to stay hydrated and quench their thirst after eating. She has dramatically stopped! I think her bladder just isnt as full and tight when I get home. (i do also take her out immediately, and I dont talk to them or get them excited until after they are outside and have peed) And I then give her some water once she gets back in from her walk. Maybe this may work for you as well?
