hi lucy urinates when she gets excited sometimes. I've found the best way to prevent this is to just immediatly take her outside to do her business when I get home.

If there is going to be company coming over I put her in her crate for about 10 minutes before they arrive and then take her outside (I take her out a different way than the way the guests are entering) and that has seemed to help a bit. However, she still does it during training class when they have off-leash time I guess all the excitement and running around with the other dogs is too much.

I don't know if it should be anything to be alarmed about, my sisters 3-year-old yorkie Bogey, does this, now he only does this when he sees me come in, and he goes a lot not just a little drop, too.

But I always say it's better to be safe than sorry and it wouldnt' hurt to talk to your vet about it, if you are concerned.
