I think Toby will be fine to go camping. We have taken Daisy twice already in our tent trailer. Most of the time she spent just sleeping in the trailer. I would also have her in my lap or on her extendable leash in the campsite. She had fun and did just fine. I did not bring her crate but think it would be a good idea if you wanted to.
I just showed her where her wee wee pad was on the floor and she would use it.
