I do not see anything wrong with getting a chocolate Yorkie. I do not like seeing prices jacked up because of a "rare" color, just like I don't like it when they sell "Teacups" or "micro" ones for a higher price. If yo like the different color of a yorkie then I see nothing wrong with getting it. The "rare" color does happen in litters and the puppy still needs a loving home!
On the other hand, buying from a pet store supports puppy mills! Maybe you could research breeders that are selling in your area before buying from them. Ask others where they got their Yorkie from. Good luck getting a second pup! |
