My husband works from home, but because his company decided to get rid of their office and everyone works from home. I think a lot of people have a regular office job but then telecommute.

Otherwise, I generally know about people who are in business for themselves, Real Estate agents, graphic designers, etc. You need to figure out what you are good at. That's not to say you need to be a CPA and do accounting. We have a local company here that runs errands for the "professionals" that don't have time to pick up their dry cleaning, buy groceries, or wait at home for the dishwasher repair man. Think creatively. Maybe check out some of those parenting websites for some ideas.

I think working at your kid's school is a great idea too!
