Yesterday we were carrying Fitzy outside at a friend's house, and he saw something he liked so he all of a sudden wiggled out of our arms and did a back flip, landing on the pavement. On impact, he hurt either his paw or lower leg, and he was crying very loudly. Now, a little more than 12 hours later, he is crying when he shifts his weight around the kennel and is screaming if someone touches his leg.
Is there a possibility of a fracture? Should I bring him to the vet or will he tough it out eventually?
